This house regrets the legacy of Margaret Thatcher

Loved and loathed in equal measure, one thing is certain, Margaret Thatcher changed Britain forever and created the country we live in today. Was her legacy positive, or should we regret the legacy of Margaret Thatcher?

Proposition:

Graham Stringer – Labour Party MP for Manchester Blackley, Manchester City Council leader during Margaret Thatcher’s Government.

Opposition:
Graham Brady, MP for Altrincham and West Sale and chairman of the 1922 committee
