February 9 @ 5:00 pm / 6:30 pm

In the near future, we will be facing a crisis on the national grid. With a lot of our coal powered generation being closed to reach emission targets and many of our current nuclear supply being closed because of old age, our grid will not be able to reach the rising demand.

The government is planning to solve this mainly by expanding our nuclear grid in order to create a massive boost to our supply. However, some have seen this as controversial, as they see nuclear power as unsafe, unnecessary, and too expensive.

Please join us in Roscoe Lecture Theatre A on the 9th of February at 5pm for what we hope will be an interesting and informative debate.
